Legion Posts, click on CERTIFICATION to obtain your post's Certification Form; also see attached Photo Release that needs to be completed by student and signed by parent if applicant is not 18 years of age.

CERTIFICATION
Certification will be conducted at your local sponsoring American Legion post and will consist of delivering your Prepared Oration and one of the Assigned Topics. In addition to providing a coaching opportunity, the certification process guarantees that your material is of a competitive nature. Local posts will be responsible for scheduling these certification sessions. Certification forms will be completed and submitted to the state chairs.
